It was furious all day, so I decided to try and put it in my lap and feed it once we got home. Decided it probably couldn’t climb out of a claw foot tub and escape...so now I’m sitting in the bathtub with a sleeping kitten on my lap. And the faucet leaks so my pants are soaked.

You sound like me. I went to say goodnight to our cat when we were still taming her when she was a kitten - we had given her the run of the basement hallway after we left her out of the kennel when she was a little used to us and she fell asleep on my lap with me sitting with my back against a hard wall on the floor of the hallway...but I could n’t bring myself to wake the poor thing so I slept there with her on my lap all night, lol.

And...nowdays she is pretty much awake most of the night and sleeps most of the day!

I’m just a cat whisperer.

I got loud purrs and biscuits at breakfast, so we’re making progress. Or it just really, really likes this canned food.
